With the aid of a small capital grant from Arts Council England, we partnered with Lumsden and Cod Steaks to transform a late 1800s church into a castle of imagination. This ambitious project incorporated a variety of literary-inspired themes, with thousands of intricate details that make each experience truly captivating. We were commissioned to make a diverse range of pieces, each varying in size, design, and finish, all aimed at enhancing the overall visitor experience for years to come. Each piece was crafted to the highest standards to create an immersive and inspiring environment. By using our expert craftsmanship, a variety of tools and techniques we achieved the quality and look of the final creation.
Creating the unique joinery required a blend of traditional craftsmanship and whimsical atheistic, providing both functionality and inspiration. Our team utilised various techniques to achieve this design;
The project needed joinery that went beyond standard carpentry, requiring our team to create intricate elements that fitted perfectly and captured the fantasy theme of the design. Using expertise and quality materials we crafted durable, precise pieces that add to the project’s unique character and finish.
We used our custom CNC cutting services to ensure exceptional accuracy and precision when creating each element. Our advanced machines and process enabled each of the components we created to integrate seamlessly together into the overall design. We produced a diverse range of parts for this project in various themes, materials, and finishes, guaranteeing that every piece flawlessly met the client’s expectations and enhanced the theme of the space.
Beautifully detailed designs were a key feature of this project, helping to capture the magic and fantasy of this experience. Our CNC design services enabled us to create unique shapes, patterns, and images, creating elements that felt as if they had been lifted straight from a storybook. Using our precision milling techniques, we transformed raw materials into highly detailed, unique finished products that met the client’s exact fairytale vision.
